About these terms
These terms apply when you buy from legendsofeyewear.com. Placing an order means you accept them. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Legends of Eyewear is a trading name of Melon Optics Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 05833638. Our full company details are on our Legal Notice.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract between us is formed when we send your order confirmation. If we cannot fulfil your order we will tell you and refund you in full.
We take care with prices and product information. If an item is listed at the wrong price, we will contact you before dispatch and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency of the store you are browsing and include any tax we are required to charge. Payment is taken in full at checkout. Import duty and taxes on international orders are covered in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery
Delivery options, prices and estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout before you pay. See our Shipping Policy for how and when we dispatch.
Pre-orders
Some products are sold as pre-orders. Payment is taken in full at checkout. The product page and your order confirmation show an estimated dispatch date, which can move by a day or two. If it changes significantly, we will email you. You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched for a full refund. See our Cancellations page.
Returns and refunds
You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to return or exchange it. Full details, including how to start a return and who pays return postage, are in our Returns and Refunds policy.
Guaranteed for Life
We make our sunglasses to be worn, not boxed away, and we stand behind how they are built. Every pair of Legends of Eyewear sunglasses is guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects.
If a fault in materials or workmanship appears, for as long as you own the glasses, we will repair them or replace them free of charge. If the exact model is no longer available, we will replace it with the closest equivalent.
What this covers
- Defects in materials or workmanship, such as a hinge, frame or fixing that fails in normal use.
What this does not cover
- Accidental damage, drops, sitting on them or general mishaps.
- Normal wear and tear, including scratched or scuffed lenses from everyday use.
- Damage from misuse, improper storage, or attempted repairs or alterations not carried out by us.
- Loss or theft.
- Lenses or frames damaged by exposure to extreme heat, solvents, or chemicals.
How to make a claim
Email us at hello@legendsofeyewear.com with your order number and a couple of photos of the fault. We will take it from there and tell you the next steps. You may be asked to return the glasses so we can inspect them. We assess each claim against the cover set out above, and where a claim is covered we decide whether to repair or replace. This guarantee is offered to the original owner with proof of purchase.
This guarantee sits alongside, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer.
Our products and content
Our products are officially licensed. Band names, logos and artwork are the trade marks of their respective owners and are used under licence. Everything else on this site, including our own text, images and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. Please do not reproduce it commercially without our permission.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by English law, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live outside England and Wales, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to your order.
